Tertinggal dari Penjualan Honda BeAT Street, Yamaha X-Ride Segera Pakai Mesin 125cc.
Nama BeAT, peruntungan Honda
Nama 'Beat' sepertinya menjadi peruntungan tersendiri bagi Astra Honda Motor Indonesia. Pelan tapi pasti kehadiran Honda Beat Street mulai menggerus pasar Yamaha X-Ride. Terbukti selama tiga bulan awal tahun 2017 penjualan Honda Beat Street telah sanggup mengungguli penjualan Yamaha X-Ride. Tercatat sepanjang 2017 penjualan Honda BeAT Street sebesar 57.399 unit. Sementara dalam periode yang sama, Yamaha X-Ride hanya mampu terjual 22.428 unit. Hal yang tentunya membikin susah Yamaha Motor Manfacturing Indonesia.

Memang tidak ada jalan lain bagi Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Indonesia kecuali melakukan perubahan kepada Yamaha X-Ride. Apalagi sejak pertama kali kemunculannya, Yamaha X-Ride belum pernah sekalipun di facelift. Mentok-mentoknya cuman ganti stripping dan model warna saja, tidak lebih. Nah, berita bagusnya nih, pada facelift kali ini Yamaha tidak hanya memberikan sentuhan baru bagi X-Ride saja tapi juga menaikan kubikasi mesinnya. Dari semula hanya 113,7 cc SOHC yang mampu memproduksi tenaga 7.75 Ps dan torsi 8.5 Nm, akan menjadi 125 cc dengan teknologi Blue Core yang diklaim memiliki tenaga lebih besar.

Akankah Yamaha X-Ride dibekali dengan ban-ban gambot layaknya gen matic terbaru dari Yamaha ? LCD LED berlayar lebar ? Headlamp LED ? Desain berubah total ? Menarik untuk kita tunggu bersama.
